IBEX Test Freezer
Theory on product chilling and freezing characteristics is extremely useful in sizing carton tunnels, and calculating the optimum retention times. However as we all know, each producer's products have specific ingredients that have different characteristics that are unique.
In order to ensure that we are able to provide our customers with solutions that a/ change the temperature profile as required, and b/ is sized to the specified requirements, it is vital that exact product variables are understood, as these dramatically affect the design of any system
To this end, IBEX in conjunction with the New Zealand Government invested in developing a unique test unit. This converted 20' container is able to simulate full size systems, and through the use of probes, and computer modelling allow IBEX to analyze the products unique characteristics. Through this system, we can also apply different variables through airflow and temperature.
The end result is that IBEX is able to design and build systems that are based on exact product data, and are able to offer maximized energy efficiency and product quality.
